Instructions for creating a crystal sleep pouch for children
First of all you need to cleanse your crystals. A singing bowl is a great way to do this as children love clanging away on the bowl, plus its much safer than using a smudge stick when you have little ones around.
After you have cleansed your crystals, hold the crystals in your palms (yours over your child's) and ask that any previous dedications, intentions, thoughts or feelings be returned, with love, to anyone that has previously held or owned the crystals. This is to clear the crystals from any previous intentions.
The next step is to ask the crystals to help your child have a peaceful night sleep. You can do this by holding the crystals in your hands and saying out loud your intention for each of them. Some suggested intentions are:
Angelite: For your child’s Guardian Angels to protect them whilst they sleep
Mangano Calcite: To send your child love, prevent night terrors and to calm anxious feelings
Moonstone: To help prevent your child from sleep walking
Amethyst: To calm your child and their overactive mind and to prevent nightmares
White Howlite: To give your child a sense of calm and relieve frustration, especially if they are unable to sleep due to an overactive mind
Lapis Lazuli: To help your child relax and relieve insomnia
Clear Quartz: To super charge all the intentions and crystals
Lastly, say thank you to your crystals for their help whilst you both gently blow on the crystals and pop them into the pouch.
If your child is old enough, you can now place the pouch under their pillow. Don't forget to regularly cleanse and charge the crystals to keep them working at their best.
We hope you have fun making sleep pouches with your little ones!
