About New Jade Crystals
There are only 2 true types of Jade - Jadeite and Nephrite Jade. The other crystal referred to as Jade is New Jade, however this is actually a type of Serpentine.
Serpentine is a bright lime green to a dull olive-green crystal which relates to the Heart Chakra. Use Serpentine during meditation as it is great emotionally and will help with energy flow. In addition, Serpentine is a great crystal for artists as it will help inspire creativity.
